Emma is an adopted kiwi having moved from Ayrshire, Scotland in 2009 to Hawkes Bay and now living in the big smoke of Auckland. She lives with her partner, James, a pilot, her four-year-old daughter, son and her two Labradors.

She has been working in physiotherapy for 15 years. Emma completed her undergraduate honours degree at Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh and then her Masters of Physiotherapy (endorsed in sports) from Otago University. She has a special interest in sports rehabilitation and injury prevention.

Emma enjoys all sports and has been a physio for many teams from basketball to soccer to rugby. She was the lead physio for the New Zealand football ferns and Triathlon Australia.

She is a keen triathlete/multi-sport athlete and competed for both Great Britain and New Zealand at an age-group level in both duathlon and triathlon.

Linda graduated in Canada from MacEwan University in 2013 with a Diploma in Massage Therapy. The program consists of a variety of techniques including trigger point therapy, myofascial release, muscle energy techniques, joint mobilizations, sports and pregnancy massage.

She has taken further continuing education courses to expand her practice over the years such as kinesio-taping, manual lymphatic drainage (Vodder method) and fascial stretch therapy (FST).

From 2020-2022 she has also been an instructor at MacEwan in the massage therapy program teaching students a variety of theory and techniques.

She incorporates a therapeutic approach that uses multiple techniques to help her patients achieve more self-awareness of their bodies as well as aim to improve their physical well-being.

Her hobbies include playing volleyball, the ukulele, travelling, and crocheting.

She has specialised into Women’s Health which began after becoming a mum to her first beautiful daughter, and her commitment to helping women continues to grow every year.

Danielle is a qualified Chinese Medicine Practitioner with a Bachelor of Health Science in Chinese Medicine and a Diploma in Tuina (therapeutic massage). She brings a wealth of experience in acupuncture and is also an ACC registered provider. Danielle has previously been involved in clinical teaching at a university level.

She’ll be covering for Aggie while she’s currently overseas (return date still TBC). Danielle has a strong focus on pain, injuries and recovery, with a special interest in neck pain, and uses a combination of acupuncture and hands-on techniques to help you feel your best.

Danielle is now available for bookings at our Riverhead and Hobsonville clinics.

Sheldon is an Australian-trained physiotherapist who has lived in NZ for 20 years. He lives in  Muriwai Beach with his Kiwi wife Jo, his kids Maggie (17) and Cole (14), and his dog Lola.
Sheldon graduated in 1994 from the University Of Sydney, Australia. He has 30 years of private practice experience. He is a member of the New Zealand Physio Association, Physiotherapy Acupuncture Association and the New Zealand Manipulative Physiotherapy Association.
Sheldon is a family man, keen surfer, and mountain biker.

Jennifer has been practising Pilates for the past 10+ years. She decided to take the leap from the corporate world to become a Pilates Instructor in 2021. She first completed the Polestar Pilates Gateway programme and continued on to complete her comprehensive certification in the Pilates Method through Polestar Pilates NZ. With her corporate background she understands the aches, pains and stresses that office work can bring and is passionate about the difference Pilates can make to alleviate these issues. She is a mum to an energetic son and has undertaken additional training in the Post Natal Core Rehab Method to support mums in the post natal period. She feels that regular Pilates practice allows you to maintain a balanced, healthy body so you can enjoy your daily routine.

Alana has spent several years in London working as a nurse before returning to New Zealand where she now lives locally with her husband, two young children, dog and cat. She started working with us as a receptionist at Hobsonville Physiotherapy in 2020 but since having her second daughter she works more from home doing the behind-the-scenes admin and helping manage both clinics. You will see her every now and then in either clinic helping out.
